by Ron Carter (BPRW)
NEW YORK, NY (January 18, 2008) -- Ear2Hear.com, the new internet destination unlike any other that is dubbed to be a “one stop shop” for the entire family, will host a launch reception on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Helen Mills Event Space and Theatre, 137 – 139 West 26th Street in New York City, to debut their new interactive website as well as make two major announcements of upcoming projects that will demonstrate the intention of Ear2Hear.com to be a strong and responsible member of the global community.
Interactivity, grassroots participation and universality are the driving forces behind the mission of Ear2Hear.com. Channels, activities, events and projects associated with Ear2Hear.com will all share one common goal, to bring the world closer together while creating a place for each of us to be more able to appreciate being our individual selves proving the power of one.
During Monday’s event at the Helen Mills Event Space and Theatre, Ear2Hear.com will announce their two major policy initiatives for 2008: “Blue Marble Green Planet”, a grassroots program targeting youth ages 13-24 to raise awareness about the environment and conservation; and secondly the debut of “KATRINA …the after laugh“ on Ear2Hear.com’s Comedy Clique Channel. “KATRINA …the after laugh” is an online archive event of the forty-eight hour live non-stop web-a-thon in which 150 comedians raised money for Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005. Ear2Hear.com will host a pay per view archive where video shorts from this amazing event may be viewed. Funds from the $5.99 pay per view will go to the American Red Cross to further benefit the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
Andre Reams, President & CEO of Essential Momentum Group Incorporated, the entity that manages Ear2Hear, says the goal of Ear2Hear.com through these initiatives is to engage their audiences with proactive things they can do to make a difference in their communities.
“The goal is to register 10 million youth from around the globe throughout the year to take action in their own communities,” said Reams. “Ear2Hear.com strives to be the one destination that is more than just a fun place for youth to go on the net. One of our goals is to be there through every step and stage, every moment of pride and glory, and every need and emotion that our members experience through their lives,” he added.
